A barrel sauna literally means "a sauna in a large wooden barrel.

Because circulation is so well controlled in a barrel sauna, the sauna not only heats up very evenly, but it also heats up faster than any other type of sauna. That faster warm-up time is nice, so you don't have to wait as long to use the sauna.

This barrel sauna is also a real eye-catcher in your garden.

As standard, we deliver our sauna in thermowood. This guarantees a longer life span. Also, all our barrel saunas are equipped with a shingle roof and rain slats.

We work only with high-quality European sustainable wood, each of which is carefully selected for the production of our premium barrel saunas.

For our barrel saunas we work with thermowood as standard. This is spruce wood that gets a longer life through a thermal treatment. In addition, this process ensures that the wood has less action and is light in weight. This gives your sauna a longer life, which we also call sustainable.

How is our thermowood made?

Our European and FSC-certified softwood is heated under high pressure in a special steam oven for a long period of time, which greatly improves its structure and durability. The sugars and resins change their composition making it no longer interesting for insects.

FSC label: (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international label for sustainable forestry, established in 1994. The label applies to wood and derived products. An FSC label guarantees that a product comes from responsibly managed forests or recycled material.

Electric heater

Enjoy every convenience with an electric heater. Choose the desired temperature by simply pushing a button, without looking back this heater reaches the perfect sauna temperature. You can control your temperature with a timer or the app. The heater comes with sauna stones to pour extra water on. This is an A-quality heater from Harvia (market leader sauna heaters).

Important! Do not forget to provide power supply to connect your electric heater.

Wood-fired stove

The wood-burning stove provides an authentic and cozy feeling. The smell of the burning wood and the atmosphere of the dancing fire give a total experience. It also provides extra light and can rise to higher temperatures. Also with this stove are sauna stones provided to pour extra water on them. By pouring extra water on the sauna stones you can create extra condensation. Experienced sauna goers will enjoy using professional infusions with fragrance oils.

No panoramic glass

Without panoramic glass, the back of the barrel is sealed with, your choice of wood. This allows you to fully enjoy maximum privacy.

Half panoramic glass

Got a nice view? Then make the most of the view with half panoramic glass when you use the barrel sauna.

Full panoramic glass

Prefer a very open feeling? Make the most of your view with full panoramic glass when you use the barrel sauna. This is the most popular choice.

Windows

By default, there are no windows at the front. If you want a more spacious feeling, you can choose the option with two windows at the front.

Alder floor

Alder flooring is definitely recommended for your barrel sauna. Not only does it provide stability, but this type of wood also stays relatively cool, making it pleasant to walk or lie on.

Ergonomic back supports

The back supports offer optimal support and provide extra comfort. These are supplied in sets of two each.

Cosy light

The "light Cosy" option adds an extra dimension to your barrel sauna. The light is placed at the top right and can be turned on and off with a push button.

Or LED lighting under the couches

Highly recommended. The LED lighting is completely concealed under the benches of your barrel sauna. The warm, concealed light gives an extra cozy effect.
